Rodney has extensive experience in designing and recommending and designing engineered sealing solutions for use in all types of valve and flange applications with a focus on Low E Sealing Technology for valves and large diameter critical flange sealing.
Rodney works is responsible for the continued development of valve designs and technology for Beric Valves focused on the control of fugitive emissions for compliance with EPA regulations and ultimately the ability for owners/end users to meet their Consent Decree compliance initiatives.
More specifically, Rodney on behalf of Beric Valves continually works to insure the valves and valve packing are capable of meeting EPA guidelines and definitions for “Certified Low Leaking Valve Technology” and “Certified Low Leaking Packing Technology” to meet Enhanced LDAR & Consent Decrees and compliance.
Additionally, Rodney is an active and contributing member of the downstream sector of the American Petroleum Institute (API) where the standards are developed and written to assure valves are designed and tested to meet these stringent requirements.
