Mr. Christopher has over 35 years of energy industry environmental experience. For most of the last 20 years, Mr. Christopher has specialized in air quality issues and permitting programs affecting a broad range of facility operations, with hands-on experience in both corporate headquarters and facility regulatory settings, as well as in the environmental consulting world. He has managed the environmental compliance program and environmental professional staff for a major refinery’s downstream businesses, as well as being actively involved in regional air quality issues and national trade groups.
Mr. Christopher joined Trihydro Corporation in 2010, and oversees Trihydro’s air regulatory compliance, air permitting, and greenhouse gas services teams, where he represents clients throughout the energy industry. Mr. Christopher provided expert testimony during Colorado’s Regulation No. 7 hearing in 2014 and has supported numerous clients in implementing upstream and midstream air regulatory programs. Prior to joining Trihydro, Mr. Christopher was the environmental manager for the Suncor Energy (U.S.A.) Inc. petroleum refinery near Denver from 2005 – 2010. Mr. Christopher was also the senior air specialist at the refinery from 1993 – 2005, and has also worked for Conoco Inc. and Texas Eastern Corporation.
